A cable is generally made of one or more mutually insulated conductors and an outer insulating protective layer, which transmits power or information from one place to another. A cord-like cable, usually composed of several or groups of wires (each group of at least two) twisted together, each group of wires insulated from each other, and often twisted around a center, the entire outer coating is highly insulated. The cable has the characteristics of internal power and external insulation.
